Instagram Interiors accounts that will bring a dose of real life interiors magic to your feed.
These days it seems there are so many blogs out there that it can be hard to navigate or even search for new inspiration. As readers of Hello Peagreen you’ll know of my love of interiors and therefore it’ll come as no surprise that the blogs I like to read are interiors heavy. The same is true on Instagram, my feed is top heavy with dreamy interiors shots, beautifully styled lifestyle photography and a good dose of colour and pattern. I like to follow a mix of people who share their own homes and Instagrammers who curate. To try and keep it real I follow accounts with huge followings like Design Milk and the always lovely Kate Watson-Smyth, but also smaller accounts like the ones I’m sharing below. I know from first-hand experience the legwork these smaller (particularly those under the 10k followers) accounts have to put in to engage with like-minded people and just be seen given the Instagram algorithm. It could easily be a full-time job if you let it. That’s why for my March Instagram Magic post I’m championing these guys – some of whom I’ve met in person. Plus spring is a great time to get cracking with those interiors jobs you’ve been putting off and these ‘grammers will definitely give you some inspiration.

If you haven’t come across Jen Stanbrook of LoveChicLiving she’s an absolute Pinterest genius and runs an amazing Pinterest course that I think absolutely every interior designer, blogger or small business should go on.
Catherine Cornelissen is an interior designer and interiors retailer who’s feed is chock full of interiors loveliness, where traditional meets contemporary and eclectic. She has an eye for mixing and matching and isn’t afraid of pattern nor colour.
Nicola Capper of Nordic Notes shares her love of Nordic design and her Nordic inspired home in Liverpool on her
Jenny Kakoudakis of Seasons in Colour is a blogging force to be reckoned with and all round lovely person. The first time I met her she practically knocked me off my feet with her exuberance and proclaimed I was her sister from another mother….obviously Irish and Greek heritage being so very similar! Something we do both have a love of is colour and fabulous interiors. Oh and Greek Islands, good food and a really good natter. I digress, she recently had her bathrooms featured in Grand Designs magazine and is planning a large extension to her house this year.
Donna Ford started her blog Skirting Boards and Chandeliers back in 2017 to document her home renovation project. Her talent for photography means that her blog posts are always beautiful, as is her Instagram. So much so, that she now also has a photography business shooting events and portraits for creative people.
Jasmin from Brick Dust Baby is a fellow Brightonian with a passion for interiors. She was also the force behind the House that Bloggers Built project that I took part in. She’s a dab hand at hands-on DIY – unlike me! – and she’s recently completed a rather delicious looking loft conversion that includes the cutest space for her little girl. She’s definitely a pro when it comes to making her spaces sing for those Instagram squares.
Jo’s Victorian house is a joyful view into her renovation and upcycling via her Instagram and blog- Life with Holly. She shares her DIY escapades through tutorials and doesn’t shy away from sharing the trials of working from home and being freelance.
Rachel Rae-Spiller aka Button and Bark is one of the hosts of #howimonochrome. If you’re a monochrome fiend or just dabbling her Instagram feed has plenty of interiors and lifestyle inspiration – in black and white of course.
My favourite Cardiff boy Juan Sandiego (aka Boreal Abode) who’s recently been on our TV screens on BBC’s The Best House in Town as the design aficionado that he is. He also hosts the Twitter chat @InteriorsChat.
As an Amara IBA 2018 finalist Sam Crooks has an engaged community on Instagram following her journey of DIY and her tips on budget friendly tips. She knows her way around an Ikea hack and shares her tutorials on her blog.
Another fellow south coaster who’s also a dab hand at renovation is Poonam
Fresh Design Blog is the brainchild of Rachel Newcombe it’s jam-packed with decorating advice, interviews, and interiors products from small retailers.

Thank you so much for featuring me amongst such amazing accounts!!
it blows my mind how many accounts are REALLY BIG (like over 20k) but I only come across them for the first time by following other smaller accounts. Instagram is funny in that way. Off to make sure I am following all of the above accounts!
Thank you so much for featuring my account Mary! Sending love!
