Instagram magic that works in January

It’s easy to start the year with that feeling of humdrum, isn’t it? Well, I feel it’s time for a pick-me-up. A year ago I started my Instagram series sharing with you the accounts and images that make me smile. I feel it’s important that at this time of year, especially, that I look for some Instagram magic. A little sparkle, a little wanderlust, a little spark of inspiration to see us through these cold dark days in January. I don’t know about you but when January rolls around and everyone is banging on about new years resolutions and about the “new you” mantra it just makes want to run for the hills. I don’t need an upgrade, I’m not a mobile phone after all. But I do need some inspiration and possibly a good book to see me through these early January days. So here are my sparks of Instagram magic for January.

The most perfectly balanced and livable loft conversion you’ve ever seen is in the home of Interior designer Sarah Brown. Her eye for colour is absolutely amazing and this design has me wanting to redecorate my whole house.

As a devotee to Australian Vogue Living, it feels like I am always waiting for the next issue of the magazine to be delivered. In between, Instagram magic happens and i can see what’s coming!

The amazing home of Athena Calderone of eyeswoon. Talk about heavenly, an absolute jawdropping bathroom. I could have an Instagram series just about my favourite angles of her home.

When the client isn’t afraid of colour or pattern you jump for joy surely. Especially if you have a budget that allows for specifying De Gournay wallpaper. Holy Smokes.

I could move right in to this place. I’m not sure what the shop owners would say but I’m sure squatters rights exist don’t they?

I have a serious crush on these twin beds. I mean they are just so happy looking. Unfortunately the Beautiful Bed Company is based in the US but I can dream right?

I’m always on the hunt for destinations to add to my bucket list and this one is no exception. It looks simply perfect doesn’t it?

This little corner has my name on it, for next time I’m in Paris. Oh wait, that’s in less than a week. Bring it on

I might need to add this new opening in 2019 to my list too. Wonderlusting the world.
