It’s officially Autumn today but I’m just not going to
believe it. If I believe it, that means there is not a chance of some last
summer days squeezing in before the leaves start falling from the trees. August
may not have been the lazy days of summer I’d hoped for but it was a month of
fun outings and quiet work moments.
September however is planning to be a busy month, in
fact a VERY busy month. The beginning of the month sees my little one turn
three – how the hell that happened if beyond me. So we’ll have plenty of fun
and japes planned to celebrate. Then I’m off to Paris (yippee) for Paris DesignWeek and Maison & Objet. Then hot on the heels of Paris Design week is the
London Design festival (see dates). Then also include a long weekend at the GoodLife Experience which will be a
full of fun with music, books, food and the great outdoors – oh and camping with a 3 year old and a dog. The unstoppable design maven Veronika Miller of Modenus will be in town and is an essential diary date. And then my dear husband is off to Taiwan (and I want to go of
course….) and it doesn’t seem that there is much time for my day job or even
regular everyday life! You’ll be able to keep up with more regular snapshots on
my instagram feed. I won’t be a stranger; I’ll just be over stimulated by
design and coffee!
I’m so happy to have been nominated for an Amara InteriorBlog award, in the ‘interior designer’ category. I’m up against
some incredible designer’s blogs and I am speechless to be in such illustrious
company. I would be so honoured and ever so grateful if you would take a moment
to vote for me. Thanks!
