Spotted at Decorex 2014

More
wildlife than you could shake a stick at and I’m not talking about the
abundance of crane flies (well it is essentially in a field). Once again
Decorex proved it could pull in a crowd. Whilst the Syon Park location meant an
adjusted transport requirement (thank you to my lovely friend Stuart for
driving me) it also meant far more exhibitors. I walked, I talked and I
stalked. I photographed and took business cards and I could have gone back for
a second day but alas my diary did not permit it. So what was catching my eye…..

Teal was a colour seen on many stands – which I love – especially when pared with mustard/gold.

Totally in love with the lighting by Copper and Silk, Julian Chichester’s mid century inspired chair (there was also an amazing  X frame table with glossy top) and this awesome carpet from Alternative flooring‘s Quirky B collection.

Plenty of buttoning on show and most often in contrast. Items below from TalismanCharlotte James and Robert Langford.

Finishes still seemed to favouring brass, bronze, copper etc. Or anything that wasn’t chrome.

Did you go to Decorex? did you see any gems?
