Colour palette inspiration – for children’s rooms

You may recall my post here about taking
inspiration from children’s books.
I’ve been fascinated with vintage books lately but its been hard to source
board books, as my little one still has a tendency to rip pages out. So I was
pleased to track down a reprint of another great book to take inspiration from which
is “I am Bunny” illustrated by Richard Scarry from Gosh! comic store in Soho. It has gorgeous sixties colour and styling, but its the intense colour saturation that’s got me really excited. I think that a wall mural below (such a clever idea) and also the wallpaper in the bottom image (possibly Svenskt Tenn?) mirror that saturation…. lovely.
