Monday Inspiration {colourful living}

I have a one-track mind at the moment and no its not
what you think or babies for that matter either… But colour. I am obsessing
about hits of high-octane colour, so much so I’ve incorporated into my own
home. I just find vibrant hues so stimulating at the moment although my current
preference tends to be on the more primary colour scale. Nether the less I find
myself stopping and wanting to be enthused by all sorts of oddities like tins
in the super market.  Maybe it’s a
pre-conditioning thing (my baby is due in 8 weeks or so and I know so will the
primary coloured plastic too) or maybe it’s the impact of all the lush greenery
everywhere “thanks” to the torrential rain we’ve been having here.

Sometimes all you need is a little touch of colour to
make you smile..

I’ve been busy adding to my colour boards on pinterest in light of my new
obsession. You should stop by and have a look; there are some gorgeous examples
of colour being incorporated into interiors. Here are a few examples from my
colour, colour, colour board and my yellow and blue boards

    Yellow always makes me happy. That's why I love the bright yellow mantel so much and it's also quite unexpected to see a mantel painted in a bright color. How cool is the room that looks like the inside of a room made out of Lego bricks…

      Its such a smiley happy colour. Here in the UK I think people shy away from it. As for the lego room I know plenty of kids who'd love it
