Time out Tuesday is a belated Monday Inspiration

Oh dear it may have seemed that I disappeared forever BUT I have been on
a well-earned holiday (also avoiding the builders and lack of wi-fi at
home).  I’m now back in this
pleasant rainy land (and the builders are still here) and I’m missing the 42
degree Celsius heat. Yes I did say 42°C. I was in the land of glistening towers and
sand as far as the eye can see – Dubai.

This was my second trip to Dubai, I last visited in 2008 for work and
the pace of change seems to have slowed slightly (pesky economy).  However you cannot miss the biggest
change to the skyline the uber tower that is the Burj Khalifa (which was under construction
when I was there last). Anyone with the slightest interest in architecture has
to go up the amazingly quick lifts to the viewing platform, on the 124^th
floor no less.

So whilst I can hear rain against the window I am going to stay mentally
in the warmth (I’m too pale to sunbathe but I do like to lounge like a lizard
absorbing the warmth). So for now the below is my Inspiration – feel the heat…..
