Timeout Tuesday – still in Sweden

So whilst I’m in Sweden I thought I’d share the pictures of swedish interior designer Marie Olsson Nylander home. I know it was blogged to death earlier in the year but maybe you haven’t seen it yet.  I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the spiral staircase (although I know I’d fall on them and Milo would HATE it) and the dining table arrangement with the Arco lamp. Notice the pops of tealy blue in both pictures.

That huge planter in the kitchen/diner is a statement and half, as is the antique desk with the vintage chair and sharp apple computer. Feels like the mac is as much a design statement, as everything else in this composition.

There are some truly great pieces of 20th century design in this home. Including lighting by Achille Castiglioni and Anglepoise, as well as furniture by Poul Nørreklit, Harry Bertoia and Charles and Ray Eames.

What a great space. Love the spiral staircase too and the white floors.
