What do you mean, you’ve never heard of White Night? White Night is Brighton’s unique all night cultural festival which takes place every year on the last Saturday in October when the clocks go back.
This year more than 70 specially created events around the theme of Utopia from the fanciful to the factual aim to inspire for one night only. The festival takes place throughout the city from the grandest venues to the smallest community spaces from a royal palace to a laundrette.
Featuring street theatre and performance, art, music, midnight swimming, a half marathon (in the dark, through a festival!) and much more, White Night is a perfect example of what makes Brighton so Brighton – creative, diverse, quirky and curious.
So mark the end of British Summer time, make the most of the extra hour of darkness and do something different in the middle of the night.
Events start from 6 pm on Saturday 29 October to find out more visit White Night
However if you like dressing up and more gore maybe Beach of the Dead is more your thing. Which kick’s off with the infamous Brighton Zombie Parade
