I’d never heard of Australian artist Sydney Bell, although he’s quite well known in art circles having studied in New York with Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko. As you can imagine his work is all about colour. In fact his abstracts are absolutely bursting with colour combinations and deep colour process.
He originally studied to be an architect, which came as no surprise when I read in an interview that he said
